Selvedge Trucker Jacket
This classic is updated in a few ways, mainly by tapering the fit to a more modern style. I’m sorry to all the 90’s kids who are still living that dream: this is not your dad’s denim jacket.
The sleeves are slimmer and the body isn’t baggy around the back. The arm pits are also a little higher to give it a more flattering silhouette when you move around (I know that sometimes you do that).
There are other nice accents like the biased edges on the inside pocket lining and the 3/16″ shoulder seams which I think really add some detail to the expert eyes out there.
Overall I think it’s a sharp jacket made expertly.

Japanese Selvedge denim
This Type III selvedge denim jacket is made from Japanese denim from Nihon Menpu denim mills. This unique fabric is woven with an ash-grey weft which will result in great fades with wear. Because the fabric is a crisp and heavy 15oz it will fade quickly and break in to be your absolute favorite.
“Fabric, fit and finishing. My favorite clothing purchase of the last few years.”
one man denim brand
The Levi’s Type III trucker jacket is iconic and still heavily worn throughout the world. Odds are it’s what you think of when you hear “denim jacket” to this day. I wanted to bring the original construction back to life, down to the 3/16” shoulder seams.
These jackets were one of the first to come out of the Encampment machines and I’m still making them because of the incredible feedback I have received from so many people over the years. Thanks to everybody for your input, really, I don’t have enough space for them on here.
