Sizing Guide

Sometimes it’s useful to measure a jacket that you already own and compare it to the jacket you want to buy. This is how all of my jackets are measured and you can compare them like-for-like to any jacket you own or want to compare.

  • Chest – Measure from arm-pit to arm-pit.
  • Shoulder – Measure from shoulder seam, over the back of the neck, and to the opposite shoulder seam.
  • Waist –  Measure from side to side.
  • Length –  Measure from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the jacket.
  • Sleeve – Measure from the very top of the shoulder seam to the bottom of the cuff.

The way that a piece of clothing fits is as important as its construction, when one fails so does the other. Everything that I make in-house at The Encampment Company is also designed in-house. I learned these trades to have full control over each square inch of fabric that gets used, I truly make these clothes from start to finish.

Keeping that in mind, it is impossible to design one piece of clothing that will fit everybody. Please take the time to double check your measurements and choose the right size for you, I want this to fit as much as you want it to fit.
